Monarch Butterfly-$10,000

The Monarch Butterfly will be entitled to the following:

•  The Monarch Butterfly has first selection of an artist and butterfly design from the     Kaleidoscope artists' portfolio, or may commission an artist independently and directly     pay the artist's honorarium ($1000).

•  The Monarch butterfly will have a six foot wing span and be in the shape of a Monarch     butterfly.

•  The Monarch Butterfly Benefactor will have permanent recognition in the CommonGround     Park .

•  The Monarch Butterfly will receive premium placement of their butterfly to be decided by     the Benefactor upon approval by Kaleidoscope and in accordance with existing city laws     and restrictions.

•  The Monarch Butterflies will be the only butterflies unveiled at the public opening     ceremony, The Butterfly Bash, in October 2006.

•  The Monarch Butterfly will be included and recognized at all events as a Monarch Butterfly     throughout the project including the Net Your Butterfly, The Butterfly Bash, and The Butterfly     Ball.

•  The Monarch Butterfly will receive special invitation to all Kaleidoscope celebrations and     media events throughout the project.

•  The Monarch Butterfly will be recognized as a Monarch Butterfly on the website, and all     printed materials including: locator maps, event programs, and newspaper     advertisements (where the butterfly names are printed).

•  The Monarch Butterfly will receive a half page ad in the auction program.

•  The Monarch Butterfly will receive advertising privileges on the Kaleidoscope website.     Kaleidoscope will also provide a link to their corporate website.

•  The Monarch Butterfly has the right to use the image of his or her butterfly for advertising     and promotional purposes with approval by Kaleidoscope.

•  At the conclusion of the display the Monarch Butterfly has the choice of taking possession     of the butterfly or returning it for auction with 50% of the net proceeds going to his or     her charity of choice.
